But you will be surprised that not only we celebrate in India, the spirit of <span style=\"color: #ff0000;\">love<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #00ff00;\">selflessness<\/span>, <span style=\"color: #cc99ff;\">masti,\u00a0<\/span> but all over the world the spirit of Holi is enjoyed and waited for. <b>Holi<\/b>\u00a0represents the arrival of spring and the triumph of good over evil.<\/p>\n<p>Let&#8217;s see them.<\/p>\n<ol>\n<li><span style=\"color: #ff6600;\">The Orange <span style=\"color: #ff9900;\">Battle<\/span> of Italy: <\/span>Celebrated in the Northern Italian city of Ivrea, the Battle of the Oranges is a festival similar to our very own Holi. Instead of colors, people throw oranges on each other. It is an annual festival which takes place during the summer. the reason is that the mud of Boryeong is used for cosmetics and this festival was to attract tourists and is actually marketing initiative!!!!!!!! There is a Melon Festival every second year in February. Melon Bulls eye, Melon Skiing, Melon Chariot, Melon Bungee, Melon Ironman, a pip spitting competition, and melon eating races take place. It is celebrated to mark Thailand&#8217;s New Year. It is a festival of unity that represents purification and the washing away of one&#8217;s sins and bad luck. The name Songkran is derived from Sanskrit word Sankranti meaning transmigration of the sun from one Rashi to the next. It is a summer festival held in the town of Haro in the La Rioja region of Northern Spain On Saint Peters Day. Haro Wine festival is associated with Batalla Del Vino meaning Batlle of Wine and is declared a Festival of National and Touristic Interest by the Spanish Government.
