Yes, you all heard it right. This article is from a doctor to patients. You will be thinking why I have written today and not yesterday. True, there is a reason for it. Yesterday was a day which showered the blessings, congratulations and appreciation and much more and I was busy collecting it as we say in Hindi…<\/p>\n

My heart was filled with the mixed emotions of love, gratitude, respect and disrespect. The days and nights of untiring efforts, dedication, hard work, sacrifices by our families.<\/p>\n

I am representing today the doctor fraternity whether Homoeopath, Allopath, Naturopath, Ayurveda…all of us are DOCTORS FIRST and then a specialist. I am sure each one of us has taken this road of SERVICE TO MANKIND with HIPPOCRATIC OATH. We wish and live our lives with that mission….as our Dr. Samuel Hahnemann writes in his book …<\/p>\n

The physician’s high and only mission is to restore the sick to health, to cure, as it is termed.<\/p><\/blockquote>\n

Last but not the least, when world is struggling with the pandemic of corona, we cannot forget to pay tribute to Dr. Bidhan Chandra Roy. It is, in the memory of whom is this day celebrated in India. It is his hardwork, passion and dedication for this profession during the era of fight for independence. Dr.Bidhan Chandra Roy MD, DSc, MRCP, FRCS; was an eminent Indian physician, educationist, philanthropist, freedom fighter and politician who served as the Chief Minister of West Bengal from 1948 until his death in 1962.<\/p>\n
