What is Leucorrhea?
Leucorrhea is the medical term for white or yellowish vaginal discharge.
-
Normal discharge can occur during ovulation, pregnancy, or before periods — it’s usually clear or slightly milky and without a bad smell. It keeps the vagina clean.
-
Abnormal leucorrhea is when the discharge is excessive, has an unpleasant odor, causes itching, burning, pelvic pain, or is accompanied by weakness. If it is thick/yellow/green, needs attention.
